Our lawyers started with the music, but ended up turning pages, literary works that is! Due to a heavy demand from clients, our lawyers have spent the past few years gaining the expertise in the literary field and building our relationship with publishers, literary agents and the book publishing world as a whole. As a result, we have seen huge success with our literary practice.

In the past, we have had the golden opportunity to assist with books involving the family of Malcolm X and Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. Specifically, our firm has guided Ilyassah Shabbazz (the daughter of Malcolm X) and negotiated a deal for Dr. Barbara Reynolds to write the autobiography of Corretta Scott King. Additionally, our firm, clients and our literary connections have been involved with the release of over 20 books a year, including books by Randall Robinson, LL Cool J, DMX, and Rick James, among so many others.
