The Stamford Connecticut based entertainment and real estate law firm, Walker & Associates, LLP has recently added a new member to their team, Darin Holt. Serving as an executive assistant, Holt will be responsible for assisting in daily operations while managing work flow.

Prior to joining Walker & Associates, LLP, Darin previously worked in the world of advertising and marketing, for companies such as Avon Products, and Macy's East. Additionally, Holt served as an executive producer and assistant for the editor-in-chief/creative director at Ebony Magazine.
Walker & Associates, LLP, an entertainment and real estate law firm located in Stamford, Connecticut, has hired Latrice Monet Hampton to assist the firm as an intern. Hampton will be under the mentorship of attorney James L. Walker Jr for the summer writing press release and reviewing contract agreements.

When I was 18, I was stopped on a moped by white police officers and rudely arrested, booked, finger printed and locked up as I tried to explain they had the wrong guy for the alleged stolen moped I was driving.
The police dropped all charges. But, I got the message quickly: I’m a black man in America and this is the reality of my life when it comes to dealing with police, so be quiet, shut my mouth and obey law and order.
Entertainment attorney James L. Walker Jr. gave a seminar titled “The Importance of Having a Music Attorney” at the 4 Annual HP Virginia Gospel Showcase. The event was sponsored by Hunter’s Production, GATM and CHO, Inc.
The Virginia Gospel Showcase is an annual event that features soloists, quartets and choirs who display their talent with the chance to win prizes such as trophies, cash and even a demo recording deal with a legitimate recording studio. The event attracts people from all over the country who go to witness some of the best displays of gospel music today.

Major gospel artist Deitrick Haddon hires the entertainment law firm, Walker & Associates, for a film deal. Aside from being known as a renown gospel artist, Deitrick is also a songwriter and producer who has recently decided to dabble in film.
