Entertainment lawyer, James Walker, closes another deal with TV-One Network for the upcoming Patti Labelle "Living it Up With Patti" Show. Walker represented Powerhouse Productions, LLC, headed by tv veterans Rochelle Brown and Sonia Armstead, who have produced the show for the past two years.
"I am excited that the network picked up another season. It is a wonderful testimony of the great work of Rochelle, Sonia and Ms. Labelle," said Walker who worked for weeks to close the deal. |

Boston MA – Entertainment Attorney James L. Walker, Jr. has been tapped to teach Entertainment Law this fall semester at the prestigious Boston College. Walker who also taught class at most recently at University of Hartford before going on sabbatical to finish his doctorate work at Yale University, says he looks forward to being back on a university campus. "It has been a some time since I was in front of a student body. , says Walker, I look forward to hitting the books with my students." And speaking of books, Walker has also been preparing manuscripts for “This Business of Urban Music” to be released by Billboard Books next year, as one of a pre-existing series of books with the “This Business of....” moniker. |
